We are building EduLadder(ELADR) - Protocol

The Eladr Protocol is a decentralized, security and efficiency enhanced Web3 noSQL database powered by IPFS as the data storage layer https://ipfs.io/, and the Cardano block chain as the rewards token platform, https://cardano.org/. It provides a JSON based, IPFS layer 2 solution for data indexing and retrieval in an 'append only' file system built with open source Node.js API libraries.

The ELADR token was designed to incentivize and reward community members as a proof of contribution. Token holders are also granted access to EduLadder.com premium features as well as associated ELADR token enabled apps.

When is Native Mobile App Development better than Web App Development?

Since it is possible to create mobile applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks, what advantages does Native Development have?

Accessibility

A native app is totally compatible with the device’s hardware and native features, such as accelerometer, camera and so on.

Web apps, on the other hand, can access only a limited amount of a device’s native features.

Software Development Process

Each mobile platform that the native app is developed for, stipulates its own unique development process. In the case of Web apps running on a mobile device’s Web browser, the problem that arises is that each of these mobile devices have unique features and come with their unique problems as well.

Efficiency

They are faster and more efficient, as they work in accordance with the mobile device they are developed for. Also, they are assured of quality, as users can access them only via app stores online.

Building native applications means using the native language of the platform, Objective-C on iOS, and Java on Android. The main advantage of native applications is their performance. Native apps are compiled into machine code (Dalvik byte code under Android), which gives the best performance you can get from the mobile phone.

Best performance includes fast and fluid animations as well as full access to phone hardware, multi touch support and the latest APIs.

Therefore, using web based web development is relatively more easier than native but in terms of performance, speed and efficiency native is more preferred.

Mobile apps will fall into two different categories one is native and the other one is hybrid apps.

Native apps
A native application (native app) is an application program that has been developed for use on a particular platform or device. Because native apps are written for a specific platform, they can interact with and take advantage of operating system features and other software that is typically installed on that platform.
For example: android apps
Hybrid apps(Web apps)
Hybrid applications are web applications (or web pages) in the native browser, such as UIWebView in iOS and WebView in Android (not Safari or Chrome). Hybrid apps are developed using HTML, CSS and Javascript, and then wrapped in a native application using platforms like Cordova
If there are scenarios which demand us to access hardware directly then I recommend native apps.
