how to create a link in html ,and how to create a link from one page to other
The <a> tells where the link should start and the </a> indicates where the link ends.
Everything between these two will work as a link.
The target of the link is added to the <a> tag using
the href="http://www.whateverpage.com" setting.
The example below shows how to make the word here work as a link to yahoo.

A webpage can contain various links that take you directly to other pages and even specific parts of a given page. These links are known as hyperlinks.
HTML links are hyperlinks.
syntax :
<a href="url">link text</a>
example :
<a href="Document URL" ... attributes-list>Link Text</a>
The href attribute specifies the destination address (http://www.w3schools.com/html/)
The link text is the visible part. A link is specified using HTML tag <a>. This tag is called anchor tag and anything between the opening <a> tag and the closing </a> tag becomes part of the link
